What makes Olive Tree the best Bible study app?
A complete study library system, not just a Bible reader
Most Bible apps let you read. Olive Tree helps you really study. The Study Center, Resource Guide, Parallel View, Look Up, and Notes seamlessly work together so that when you sit down with a passage, everything you need is quickly and easily within reach. You can read a verse, see what commentators say about it, compare it to another verse, explore a word or phrase of interest in the original Greek or Hebrew, and write your own reflections on the passage — all without leaving the app.
Works offline, everywhere
Your library downloads to your device, so whether you are on a plane, in a cabin, or serving in a country with limited internet, your entire Olive Tree library is available. Unlike web-based apps, Olive Tree was built this way from the ground up, meaning the offline experience is first-class, not an afterthought. This matters for missionaries, travelers, and anyone who wants to study away from a reliable connection every once in a while.
Built for pastors and teachers
Olive Tree is used by thousands of pastors to prepare sermons every week. The Resource Guide dramatically accelerates exegetical work by pulling relevant commentaries and references for every passage, instantly. Olive Tree's Greek and Hebrew tools help you dig deeply into the passages you have in view. Your notes sync across your devices, so you can prepare a sermon on one device and preach from another. You can build a digital library with Olive Tree that will help you be more effective and save you time each week.
