Description

Can one man with the help of God turn a vision into reality? Nehemiah did. The walls of Jerusalem arose from rubble. A wayward people were brought together as a worshipping community. But the book of Nehemiah is not simply history. It challenges and encourages us all, whether leaders or church members, to face the issues and problems confronting our churches today. It offers us timeless principles and insights to be followed, if we are to see many of our churches rise from potential ruin to God-inspired restoration.

After thirty-one years in education, eleven as the Headteacher of a comprehensive school, Geoff was ordained, exchanging the school for the church. He has served as Elder, consultant and minister in a range of churches. He is the author of numerous books, articles, and training packs. He lives in Taunton where he continues to exercise his ministry. He enjoys family life with his three children and seven grandchildren. In his spare time, he is actively involved in his local church, enjoys his garden, photography, his piano and the few joys, but greater disappointments, of his lifelong support of Bristol City.
