Christian Standard Commentary: Hebrews (CSC)

As part of the Christian Standard Commentary (CSC) series, Hebrews focuses on the theological and exegetical concerns of the book of Hebrews. Written by David L. Allen, this commentary thoughtfully balances rigorous scholarship with practical application.

The CSC series aims to embody an “ancient-modern” approach to biblical commentary, helping readers understand each biblical book's theology, its place in the broader narrative of Scripture, and its relevance for the church today. Authored by an array of evangelical scholars, this series is a tool for enhancing and supporting the life of the church.

David L. Allen (PhD, University of Texas) is professor of preaching, director of the Southwestern Center for Expository Preaching, George W.
